ResQFood – Saving Meals, Serving Communities

Overview:

ResQFood is a purpose-driven mobile app designed to combat food waste by connecting restaurants with individuals seeking affordable, high-quality meals. Built with sustainability in mind, the app helps restaurants redistribute surplus food just before closing hours, offering a practical solution that benefits both businesses and the community.

Design Process:

We started by identifying real-world pain points around food waste and affordability. Through user research and journey mapping, we crafted a clean, intuitive UI using Jetpack Compose and designed high-fidelity screens in Figma. Framer-inspired transitions and interactions help demonstrate the app’s ease of use. Our iterative approach included prototyping, user testing, and continuous refinement to ensure accessibility, impact, and scalability.
